AT CoP

Assistive Technology Community of Practice

Build Your Network; Learn Alongside Other Educators; Improve Your AT Service

The Richard West Assistive Technology Advocacy Center (https://at4nj.org/) is excited to introduce a year long Community of Practice (CoP) focused on building district level capacity to provide effective Assistive Technology services. Learn about technology tools while improving your processes in order to deliver quality AT solutions to learners.

Led by seasoned Assistive Technology practitioners, this CoP will consist of two distinct learning opportunities. Community Members are invited to attend the kickoff session at the AT in Ed Summit in October 2025 where we will meet in-person to discuss goals for the year as well as experience the variety of learning opportunities offered throughout the day.

In addition to the in-person AT in Ed Summit, Community Members will be invited to attend monthly virtual professional learning meetings. Each session is designed to build on topics introduced during the AT in Ed Summit while providing ongoing conversation and support throughout the school year.
