COVID-19 UPDATE from ATAC & partners regarding AT Demonstrations
ATAC has suspended face to face assistive technology device demonstration to conform to the CDC guidance on social distancing and the ensure the safety of both the consumer and our staff. ATAC will reassess this policy on July 1, 2020 and determine when face to face demonstrations can resume. ATAC and partners will continue to provide virtual assistive technology demonstrations at the request of a consumer.
ATAC, through its network of contractors, provides a variety of AT devices for demonstration. A demonstration is a good way to introduce individuals with disabilities to the features of different types of AT devices.
You are able to request a demo specific to your unique need. Demos can be for education, employment, leisure, or daily living.
Please feel free to contact us and let us know what you are hoping to accomplish with the demo.
