COVID-19 UPDATE from ATAC / Advancing Opportunities regarding AT Loans
Advancing Opportunities has resumed all new loans for assistive technology devices. Devices currently out on loan are expected back on the due date and will be cleaned to ensure no transmission of the COVID-19 virus. ATAC and Advancing Opportunities have worked together to develop a stronger procedure for cleaning and distribution of devices for loan.
ATAC, through its network of contractors, provides a library of devices for temporary short term loan. Borrowing a device for a short period of time is a good way for a person with a disability to determine whether a given device will meet their needs.
ATAC partners with Advancing Opportunities in lending devices to individuals, family members, advocates, etc to trial devices before you go out and buy an expensive piece of equipment that does not work.
Technology Lending Center is now a free service for New Jersey residents. Anyone with a disability who would like to trial assistive technology can contact us, sign up for free, and begin borrowing right away.

Through the lending center you are able to:
- Browse their inventory by category.
