As stated on the NJCART website:
Assistive Technology Learning Modules are designed to provide you with knowledge and skills related to AT. By viewing these modules, you will be better equipped to use AT to enhance your students independence, productivity, and overall quality of life. These modules can cover a variety of topics, including:
- Understanding AT: Learn about the different types of AT and how they can be used to address specific needs.
- Using AT: Gain practical skills in using various AT devices, software, strategies and best practices.
- Troubleshooting AT: Learn how to identify and resolve common problems with AT.
- Advocating for AT: Understand the importance of advocating for AT and learn strategies for effective advocacy.
